Women's Soccer Unveils 2026 Schedule

Red Storm will kick off 2026 campaign on Aug. 13 in Queens
QUEENS, N.Y. –St. John's Women's Soccer Head Coach Ian Stone released the program's 2026 schedule on Thursday.
Heading into his 33rd season at the helm, Stone will lead the Johnnies through an 18-match slate. The Red Storm will host nine matches in Queens and will venture to eight different states for its remaining nine contests. The Red Storm is set to return 24 players from last year's team and eight regular starters.
St. John's will host a pair of exhibition matches against Wagner (Aug. 5) and Quinnipiac (Aug. 8).
For the second straight year, St. John's will open its season against UMass. The Red Storm will host the Minutewomen on Aug. 13 at 7 p.m. and has won six consecutive home openers, dating back to 2021.
The Johnnies will make their first road trip of the year on Aug. 17 when they battle an ACC opponent in Boston College. The two programs will meet in Chestnut Hill for the first time in nine seasons.
On Aug. 20, St. John's will welcome to Towson at 4 p.m. The Red Storm have gone unbeaten in four meetings against the Tigers.
Next up for the Red Storm is a three-match road swing through the Northeast against Columbia (Aug. 23), UMBC (Aug. 27) and Monmouth (Sept. 3).
Following 20 days away from home action, the Johnnies will return to Cox Family Field at Belson Stadium to take on Central Connecticut State on Sept. 9 at 7 p.m. St. John's has won all seven previous meetings against the Blue Devils.
Coach Stone's squad will close out non-conference play on Sept. 19 when it welcomes Penn for a Saturday night showdown at 7 p.m. The Red Storm won the last meeting in Philadelphia two years ago, 2-1, on Sept. 15, 2024 behind goals from Jailene DeJesus and Hope Van Tuyle.
On Sept. 26, the Johnnies will open up BIG EAST play at Villanova, where the Red Storm is 4-4-2 in its last 10 road matchups at Higgins Soccer Complex.
St. John's will return home for back-to-back BIG EAST battles in Queens when it squares off against UConn (Sept. 30) and Creighton (Oct. 3). St. John's defeated the Bluejays in their last meeting at Belson Stadium behind a Nora Basile game-winner, 1-0, on Oct. 31, 2024.
The group will hit the road once again to meet Butler in Indianapolis on Oct. 7. Three days later, the Red Storm will head to the nation's capital to meet Georgetown on Oct. 10. The Hoyas are coming off a trip to the NCAA Tournament Third Round in 2025.
On Oct. 17, the Johnnies will ready for another Saturday night home match against Marquette at 7 p.m. Four days later, the Red Storm heads to the Ocean State to battle Providence on Oct. 21 at Anderson Field at Chapey Stadium.
On Homecoming Weekend, a Saturday matinee is on deck as St. John's takes on defending BIG EAST Tournament Champion Xavier at 1 p.m.
The Red Storm will make its final road trip of the 2026 regular season when it battles DePaul at Wish Field on Halloween. The Johnnies outlasted the Blue Demons last year in Queens on Oct. 25, 2-0.
