Kelly Wu Earns All-BIG EAST Honors

Wu logged five top-11 finishes during the 2025-26 campaign
NEW YORK – Following a standout senior season, Kelly Wu was named to the All-BIG EAST Team, the conference office announced on Friday morning.
Wu earned all-conference honors for the first time in her career and was one of seven golfers across the league recognized.
The senior is coming off the best season of her collegiate career in 2025-26. In 10 starts, Wu posted a team-best 75.9 stroke average, logged five top-11 finishes, two BIG EAST Golfer of the Week awards and won her first-ever collegiate tournament.
At the UAlbany Great Danes Invitational, Wu took home medalist honors after delivering back-to-back rounds under par on Oct. 12-13. The Auckland, New Zealand native turned in a 3-under, 67, in the opening round and a 1-under, 69, over the final 18 holes for a career-best tournament score of 4-under, 137, to end atop the 80-golfer field. After winning the individual crown and guiding the Red Storm to a runner-up finish, she went onto win BIG EAST Golfer of the Week on Oct. 16.
In the spring, Wu finished 11th after shooting 10-over, 226, at the UNCW River Landing Classic and went onto win BIG EAST Golfer of the Week for the second time on March 5.
As the spring season progressed, Wu tallied back-to-back top-10 finishes pacing a pair of top-two finishes for the Johnnies. The senior finished in eighth place at the Northern Kentucky Spring Fling in a runner-up finish for St. John's. She followed it up with a ninth place finish at the St. John's Invitational at Saint Andrew's Golf Club, leading the Johnnies to a team title.
At the BIG EAST Championships, Wu delivered her best performance in three years competing at the event. After a 1-over, 73, opening round the senior exploded for a 4-under, 68, on the next 18 holes, marking the second best single-round score in program history. The veteran paced the Red Storm to a single-round program record 1-under, 287, at Callawassie Island Golf Island Club. She finished the conference tournament in fifth place, guiding St. John's to a runner-up finish, the program's best in 21 years. Following the event. Wu was tabbed to the All-Tournament Team.
