QUEENS, N.Y.– The St. John's women's tennis program has received recognition as an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team for the sixth-straight year, the organization announced earlier this week.
Additionally, all eight team members were named ITA Scholar Athletes. Noemi Babikova, Giulia Bizzari, Charlotta Buss, Alicia Gomez, Nao Kojima, Victoria Papadopoulou, Abi Redman and Nicoline Sartz-Lunde all earned the distinction.
To earn the ITA All-Academic Team Award, a program must record a team cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. A student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.5 GPA to receive the individual accolade.
As a team, the Red Storm posted an impressive 3.87 cumulative mark for the entire 2025-26 academic year. On the court, the Red Storm advanced to the BIG EAST Tournament Semifinals for the 11th consecutive season, while two student-athletes garnered All-BIG EAST honors under Head Coach Lauren Leo's leadership.
Over 1,500 Division I student-athletes were named ITA scholar-athletes and 231 programs received All-Academic Team distinctions.
