Women’s Golf Ranked No. 12 in WGCA Scholar Team Rankings

The Red Storm rank inside the top-25 for the sixth straight year
QUEENS, N.Y. – The St. John's women's golf team ranked No. 12 in the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Scholar Team rankings, the organization announced on Thursday.
The Red Storm have ranked inside the top-25 in the classroom for the last six seasons. The no. 12 ranking ties for the program's highest since it checked in at no. 4 among NCAA Division I women's golf programs in 2022.
Under the direction of Head Coach Ambry Bishop-Santillo, the women's golf program has established a longstanding excellence of academic excellence. The Johnnies finished the 2025-266 academic year with a 3.88 team GPA.
Last week, six Red Storm golfers were tabbed WGCA All-American Scholars for excellence on the course and in the classroom.
The women's golf program is coming off a runner-up finish at the BIG EAST Championships, the program's best since it won the conference title in 2005. In the second round, St. John's smashed the single-round team scoring record with a 1-under, 287, at Callawassie Island Golf Club.
