Volleyball Announces 2026 Home Promotional Schedule

Red Storm to host promotions for all 14 home matches
QUEENS, N.Y. – The St. John's volleyball program has unveiled its promotional schedule for the 2026 season. The Red Storm will host giveaways, theme nights and special events throughout its home schedule at Carnesecca Arena.
St. John's opens its home slate on Sept. 4 with the inaugural Lou Carnesecca Invitational. Fans will receive a limited-edition 2026 St. John's Volleyball Schedule Poster, while all St. John's employees are invited to attend the match as part of Employee Appreciation Day at 1 p.m. against Rider.
Later that evening, the Red Storm faces UAB at 7 p.m. to close out the first day of the invitational. Fans will once again have the opportunity to receive the 2026 schedule poster, while early-arriving students will receive a free Chick-fil-A sandwich, courtesy of RedZone, while supplies last.
The Johnnies return to Carnesecca Arena on Sept. 18 for the 12th Annual Jack Kaiser Volleyball Classic, facing Penn at 1 p.m. The match will feature another opportunity for fans to receive the 2026 schedule poster, while St. John's employees are invited to attend as part of Employee Appreciation Day.
The Red Storm then takes on Bryant at 7 p.m. the same day, as fans can participate in the Red Storm Rewards Punch Card Challenge by attending both the volleyball and women's soccer games. Fans who complete the punch card through the St. John's Athletics app will earn extra points.
The next day, St. John's face off against Rutgers at 5 p.m. with Club Volleyball Night. Local volleyball club teams are invited to attend, with the Red Storm signing autographs following the match.
The Red Storm opens BIG EAST play on Sept. 23 against Seton Hall at 1 p.m. for Field Trip Day. Local New York City schools are invited to attend, with children receiving a Johnny Thunderbird-themed growth chart flag. The team will also sign autographs following the match.
On Sept. 26, St. John's welcomes Creighton to Carnesecca Arena at 5 p.m. for Junior Johnnies Kids Club Night, when Junior Johnnies members can first pick up their membership gift boxes.
St. John's opens October on Oct. 2 against Xavier at 7 p.m. with Camper Reunion Night and International Night. The volleyball program will welcome back its summer campers, while St. John's Athletics invites international student organizations to represent their countries. Music from the countries represented by Red Storm players will also be played throughout the night.
The following day, St. John's faces Butler at 5 p.m. for the annual Dig for a Cure Pink Game, presented by Main Street Radiology. The Red Storm will raise money and awareness for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, with fans encouraged to fill out an "I Stand Up For" sign to participate in the fight against breast cancer. The first 200 fans will receive a free pink winter beanie and rally towel, sponsored by Main Street Radiology. Fans can also purchase a pink rubber duck and participate in "Chuck a Duck" following the match, with proceeds benefiting the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
On Oct. 16, the Red Storm welcomes Marquette at 7 p.m. for another Camper Reunion Night, giving St. John's Volleyball the opportunity to welcome back its summer campers and host a postgame autograph session.
St. John's continues its home schedule on Oct. 18 against DePaul at 5 p.m. for Junior Johnnies Kids Club Night. Members will have the opportunity to participate in the pregame starting lineups, pick up their membership gifts and meet the team following the match.
On Nov. 6, St. John's hosts Providence at 7 p.m., featuring a RedZone student giveaway and a raffle opportunity for students to win tickets to an upcoming basketball game.
St. John's closes out its home schedule on Nov. 7 against UConn at 5 p.m. with a full slate of special events. The Red Storm will honor its lone senior, Rashanny Solano Smith, prior to the match as part of Senior Night. The program will also welcome back former players and their families for Alumnae Day and invite summer campers back to Carnesecca Arena for Camper Reunion Night and a postgame autograph session.
The evening will also feature Girl Scouts Night, with New York City Girl Scouts receiving an exclusive St. John's scout patch and the opportunity to participate in an autograph session following the match.
