2009-10: Competed in four events and posted 91.25 round average... tied for 33rd competing as an individual at the Sacred Heart Fall Classic (Oct. 18-19) with a 93-92--184 (+41)...tied for 45 in the Hartford Invitational (April 11-13) competing as an individual, carding an 84-91--175 (+31)... first-round 84 was personal season low.

2008-09: Named BIG EAST Academic All-Star... competed in two events and posted 82.75 round average... was third on the team and tied for 42nd overall with 82-80--162 (+18) in the Princeton Invitational (Sept. 20-21)... helped St. John[apos]s take second place at the ECAC Division I Championship, tying for 39th with an 81-82--163 (+19).

2007-08: Named BIG EAST Academic All-Star... played in every tournament for the Red Storm in her second year ... her 83.45 scoring average placed fourth on the team ... had her best event at of the year at the BIG EAST Championship, finishing tied for 22nd ... helped the team to a fourth place finish in the BIG EAST, carding a 237, including a season-low 77 in the second round.

2006-07: Named BIG EAST Academic All-Star... finished in 25th place with a 30-over 243 at the Treasure Coast Women[apos]s Classic ... posted low round with a 7-over 78 at the same tournament ...tied for 21st at the Princeton Women[apos]s Invitational ...competed in eight tournaments with an 83.89 scoring average.

Before St. John[apos]s: . Lettered in golf during all four years at Lansdale Catholic under coach Kevin Mulligan ... was named captain of the team during her senior year ... earned the squad[apos]s most valuable player award all four seasons ... named Most Dedicated and Most Courageous as a senior ... was the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference-10 Champion during her freshman, sophomore and junior campaigns ... took the District 1 Championship title during her rookie season ... two-time state qualifier ... academically, earned Excellence in Finance, Pre-Calc/Trigonometry and Honors Government during her high school career.

Personal: Born in Philadelphia, Pa. ... parents are Roman an Karen Szewczuk ... has an older sister, Rachel ... participates annually in a summer golf camp program for youth golfers at Talamore Country Club in Amber, Pa. ... has volunteered making meals for the elderly and walked to raise money for different organizations ... majoring in psychology.

Szewczuk Up Close:
Favorite golf course: I absolutely love links-style courses. I would have to say St. Andrew[apos]s, especially after witnessing the 2005 British Open.
Most reliable golf club: My putter. It is probably the most important part of the game whether trying to save or par or having an opportunity to make a birdie.
Favorite golfer: I love to watch the European Tour over all the professional golf tours. My favorite player on the tour is Graeme McDowell.
If you could use only one club to play a whole round? My Rescue 5.
Pre-shot rituals: I always stand behind the ball a few feet for the long game or short game to visualize the shot going to my target in the distance.
