As A Sophomore In 2005: One of three returning players to start all 19 games for St. John[apos]s ... scored her first collegiate goal against Bucknell (Sept. 2) at the University of Connecticut[apos]s tournament ... that goal, a free kick that found the back of the net, was the game-winner and lifted the Red Storm to a 2-1 victory ... Cohen also led the team in that game with three shots ... also had a three shots in the team[apos]s next game vs. Quinnipiac (Sept. 4) ... helped the Red Storm defense earn shutout victories over Stony Brook (Sept. 14) and Pittsburgh (Sept. 23).
As A Freshman In 2004: Emerged as a solid defender during her freshman campaign with the Red Storm ... appeared in 19 games, making five starts ... earned her first collegiate start in a win over Wagner (Sept. 12) in the championship game of the St. John[apos]s Women[apos]s Soccer NYC Nike Classic ... assisted on the game-winning goal in a 2-1 overtime win vs. Seton Hall (Oct. 6) ... started and had a solid defensive game in the Red Storm[apos]s win at Providence (Oct. 24).
Before St. John[apos]s: Participated in the Olympic Development Program (ODP) for six years ... was a Region I ODP pool player ... competed in the National Finals, while playing for Coach Stone, in 2002 ... captained the Calhoun High School team as a junior and senior ... received All-County honors for three-straight seasons ... named the team[apos]s Most Valuable Player as a junior.
