Spring 2019: A one-time BIG EAST Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week winner … Finished 14-8 in singles play ... Was a dominant force on the No. 5 court, claiming eight victories ... Was second on the team with six conference victories in singles play.
Fall 2018: Went 1-1 in doubles play at the West Point Invitational.
Spring 2018: Did not compete due to injury.
Fall 2017: Captured a pair of wins at the Columbia Invitational and Stony Brook Classic ... Suffered a pair of three-set losses.
Spring 2017: Named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team ... Picked up a pair of wins over Isabella Wagener of LIU Brooklyn and Annie DaSilva of Providence ... All three of her singles losses came in three sets.
Spring 2016: Posted a singles record of 11-6 and a doubles record of 15-7… went 5-1 in BIG EAST play defeating opponents from Seton Hall, Marquette, Georgetown, and Villanova… won one match at the No. 5 position but won the majority of her matches at the No. 6 position… played all doubles matches with Stephanie Elgegren at the No. 2 position.
Before St. John’s: Went to the ES International School in Barcelona … earned a Spanish National top-100 ranking … won the National Team Championships with her club team Real Club de Tennis Barcelona (RCTB), as well as multiple Catalonia Championships.
Personal: Hails from Barcelona, Spain … daughter of Enric and Maritza Arranz … has an older brother and sister who both attended the University of Barcelona … lists surfing, shopping and traveling as her hobbies … came to St. john’s for the good academics and athletic programs, as well as its location in New York City … favorite sports team is FC Barcelona and favorite professional athlete is Rafael Nadal.
