As a RS junior in 2018-19: Competed in seven of the Red Storm’s tournaments … Finished the season with a 89.94 stroke-average across 17 rounds … Finished 13th overall at the Hofstra Pride Invitational (Sept. 20).
As a RS sophomore in 2017-18: During the 2017-18 campaign Huseby competed in six of the team's nine tournaments ... She earned her best finish of the season at the St. John's Women's Invitational, carding a 156 (+12) to finish in a tie for fourth ... Her lowest round of the season also came at the St. John's Invitational where she turned in a pair of 78s.
As a RS freshman in 2016-17: In her first season with St. John's, competed in five of the nine tournaments … Earned her best finish at the St. John’s Invitational where she played in the individual slot, carding a 165 (+21) to claim a 12th place finish … Her lowest round performance also came at the St. John’s Invitational where she shot an 80 … In 14 overall rounds of play, Huseby recorded a 83.6 stroke average.
At Campbell 2015-2016: Did not play in any events… named to Big South Conference Presidential Honor Roll.
Before Campbell: Represented her native Norway in the European Junior Team Championship in 2013... also played for her country in junior tournaments against Sweden...placed 10th in the 2013 Annika Invitational and won the Norwegian junior team championship in 2013 and 2014...born Feb. 16, 1996.
Personal: Sofie Kjus Huseby…born in Oslo, Norway…daughter of Gro Kjus and Christian Huseby…has a sister named Thea…her uncle, Fredrik Kjus, played Tennis at St. John’s…majoring in Finance.
