As a Redshirt Junior (2017-18)
Played in all 33 games for the Red Storm, making 26 starts… ranked fifth on the team in scoring with 8.9 points per game and second on the squad with 5.9 rebounds per outing… led the BIG EAST and ranked 11th in the nation with 2.85 blocks per game… ranked eighth nationally in total blocks (94)… tied for second on the St. John’s single-season blocks list… one of only two players in St. John’s history alongside Chris Obekpa to tally more than 90 blocks in a season… his 163 rejections in two years at St. John’s were good enough for fifth on the program’s career record list… had five games with five or more blocks, including a career-high eight against Georgetown (Jan. 9)… scored in double figures on 11 occasions and recorded a pair of double-doubles… set a pair of career highs with 19 points and 14 rebounds against Seton Hall on New Year’s Eve… had 12 points on 5-of-6 shooting and grabbed 11 boards against Sacred Heart (Dec. 2)… tallied a then career-high 17 points against No. 16 Arizona State (Dec. 8)… scored 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting in the Red Storm’s win over No. 4 Duke (Feb. 3).
