As a Senior in 2019-20: Competed in seven of the team’s eight tournaments… Finished the season with a 76.56 stroke average … Recorded a trio of top-15 finishes, turning in a pair top-10 performances … Earned co-medalist honors at the Red Storm Invitational with a one-over 71 en route to the team’s first title of the year (Oct. 22)… Followed up his winning performance with a two-over 72 at the Metropolitan Championship (Oct. 28) to tie for ninth place … Closed out the season in a tie for 15^th place at the Lonnie Barton Invitational (March 9-10).

As a Junior in 2018-19: Competed in 11 of the Red Storm’s tournaments … Finished the season with a 75.55 stroke-average across 29 rounds … Recorded the second-best stroke average on the team and 33rd in the BIG EAST … Registered his second career win at the Patriot Intercollegiate (Sept. 23) … Finished second at The Doc Gimmler (Sept. 9) and fourth at the Wildcat Fall Invitational (Sept. 30) … Shot a career-best 64 at The Doc Gimmler (Sept. 9) … Recorded a team-high six top-20 and five top-15 finishes … Finished seven rounds at par or under-par.

As a Sophomore in 2017-18: Competed in all 13 tournaments for the second straight year, tying team-best 74.82 stroke average…Scored four top-20 finishes, including a tie for 14th at the Rhode Island Invitational to complete the regular season… He drove a 69 in the Doc Gimmler Invitational to start the season and at the Loyola Intercollegiate Invitational to end the regular season… Completed the BIG EAST Championship finishing tied for 40th.

As a Freshman in 2016-17: Mackedon was one of two golfers to compete in all 12 of the team’s tournaments and recorded a 74.48-stroke average, for the third lowest average on the team ... He had four top-10 finishes ... his best finish of the season came at The Connecticut Cup where he took first place … Carding a one-over 217 ... He was tied for first, but beat Matt Naumec of Boston College in a one-hole playoff. Mackedon finished second at the Lehigh University Invitational … Carding a one-over 145 after two rounds ... Macedon finished the season with his first performance at the BIG EAST CHAMPIONSHIP where he finished tied for 34th place.

Before St. John’s: Captured the Suffolk Country individual title by shooting a 145 (+3) … also led Ward Melville High School to its second-straight Suffolk Country team championship … competed in the renowned American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) circuit, where he shot an average of 77.33 per round … placed first in both U.S Challenge cups, including the Long Island and Northeast Junior Classics … took second place in the 2015 MET PGA Future series at Bethpage Red … finished third in the 2015 MET PGA Future Series at Eisenhower White … carded a 64 to post another first place showing at the MET PGA Junior Event.
