Spring 2007: Posted a 10-7 singles record ... assembled an eight-match win streak and won eight of his final ten singles matches ... five singles wins came in straight sets ... posted an 8-5 win at No. 3 doubles with partner Derek Wallensteen on Apr. 13 vs. Connecticut.
Fall 2006: Competed at the ECAC Division I Invitational Championship (Sept. 29-Oct.1) ... saw action at the No. 5 singles spot ... went 1-1 in the fall ... in doubles action, went 0-3 with Claudio Halim playing at the No. 3 spot during the ECAC DI Invitational Championship.
Spring 2006: Played sparingly in the spring, splitting time at the No. 6 singles spot with Claudio Halim ... compiled a 6-5 overall mark in limited action ... clinched the win for St. John[apos]s over Georgetown at the BIG EAST Tournament ... went 1-0 in doubles play at the No. 3 position with Tom Green.
Fall 2005: Recorded first collegiate win at the Northeast Regional (Sept.16-18) ... was 2-3 in singles play and 2-1 in doubles action.
At St. Robert: Lettered two years in tennis at St. Robert High School in Toronto ... named MVP of high school team his senior year ... member of the U18 Canadian National Team ... ranked third in Ontario U18 in 2005 ... ranked fifth in U18 Provincials in 2005.
Personal: Son of Bryan and Elizabeth Talbot ... has a brother, Scott (26) ... a sport management major.
Off The Court: Talbot says the most thrilling moment in his athletic career was when he played in a nationally televised tournament in Bermuda, taking first place in that tournament. His hobbies include playing table tennis, watching movies and staying up-to-date on the Real Estate market. Talbot was a BIG EAST Academic All-Star during the 2006-07 school year. After graduation, he aspires to manage a professional sports team, hopefully the Toronto Raptors on the NBA, his favorite team.
