Bio
As a junior (2017-18): Finished sixth in the Pentathlon at the Mets Indoor Track & Field Championships with a score of 3086. Finished with a season best in the Pentathlon with a score of 3120 and finished eighth in the shot put with a distance of 12.09 meters at the BIG EAST Championships. Finished eighth in the Heptathlon at the Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational with a score of 4241 and followed that up with a score of 4400 at the Mets Outdoor Track & Field Championships, taking second at the event. At the Tom Farrell Classic, she finished seventh in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:29.93 and followed that by winning the BIG EAST Championships in the Heptathlon with a career best 4462 in the heptathlon.
As a Sophomore (2016-17): Named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team ... Competed in eight events during the season ... Finished in the top-10 in all eight competing events at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships ... Grabbed a second-place finish at the same event in the shot put.
As a Freshman (2015-16): Indoor- Pentathlon: Took home two fourth-place finishes in two championship events, the Metropolitan Championships (Feb. 4) and BIG EAST Indoor Championships (Feb. 26) … set a personal-best score of 3019 at the BIG EAST Championships … Long Jump: set a personal-best mark of 4.93 meters and placed fifth at the Bill Ward Invite (Dec. 8) … 60-meter hurdles: placed third at the Bill Ward Invite (Dec. 8) in a time of 9.36 seconds … Outdoor-Pentathlon: set a personal-best mark of 3585 points while placing second at the Outdoor Mets (April 9).
Before St. John’s: Was a lettering member of her cross country and indoor and outdoor track & field teams for three years at Humanities and Arts Magnet School … captained her cross country and indoor and outdoor track & field teams during her senior year … received all-conference honors for cross country during her junior and senior years … holds three records (800-meters, 1,600-meters and 3,200-meters) at two different tracks in Ohio … holds one cross country record at the Coldwater course … was also a varsity member of her school’s volleyball and basketball teams for two years.
Personal: Daughter of Jason and Maria Brewer … has two siblings; Blake (20) and Brittany (26) … has future plans of becoming a lawyer … an interesting fact about Bailey is that she only graduated with 43 students … was a member of the National Honor Society and her class president at Bradford … says seafood and pasta are her favorite foods.
