Alioune Ndiaye joined the St. John’s women’s basketball staff prior to the 2019-20 season. Ndiaye is in his second tenure with Johnnies after working as the program’s video coordinator from 2013-15. Prior to rejoining the Red Storm program, Ndiaye served as the Director of Operations for Stony Brook in 2017-18. During his first year with the Seawolves, Ndiaye helped guide the team to 18 total wins for the program's most victories since the 2013-14 campaign. That same season, the Seawolves set a new program record for the most three-pointers made in a single season (190), and largest margin of victory in a single contest, as they bested Farmingdale State by 51 points. Before returning to Long Island, Ndiaye spend two seasons as an assistant coach at Miami (Ohio) with the Redhawks. Ndiaye’s duties included working with Miami’s post players, leading international recruiting and expanding the Redhawks’ community service efforts.
