As a Freshman 2021-22: Saw action in four games… Earned 11 minutes of playing time… Scored her first collegiate basket and dished out a pair of assists against Brown (Dec. 30)… Blocked a shot against the Bears (Dec. 30)… Recorded a rebound against Brown (Dec. 30) and at Georgetown (Jan. 25).
Before St. John's: Idan Shlush, a native of Gedera Israel, brings a high level of international experience to the St. John’s roster, as she played for one of the top female basketball academies in Israel, the Wingate Basketball Academy … Shlush is also part of the Israel U20 National Team … In 2017, Shlush played a key role for Israel in the U16 European Championship, averaging 7.1 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game … Shlush had two double-figure scoring performances, finishing with 13 points against Iceland before tallying 14 points against Slovenia … As a result of her success that year, Shlush was selected to the First Team All-FIBA International Camp … Shlush also contributed in the 2016 U16 European Championship, pulling down nearly 3.0 rebounds per contest … In addition, the Gedera native recorded 5.1 points, while dishing out 1.1 assists per game … Shlush best scoring output that year came against the Netherlands, as she drained a team-high 12 points, netting four of her six attempts from beyond the arc.
