Coach Barnes Arico on Moore: Coach Barnes Arico on Moore: 'Coming into her senior year, we are looking for Kristin to have a great season for us. She is very strong and athletic. With last year[apos]s experience under her belt, Kristin will be capable of making an immediate impact.'
As a Junior in 2007-08: Played in 26 contests on the year ... missed six games in the middle of the season (Feb. 2-23) after having surgery to repair torn meniscus ... shot a team-high 62.5 from the floor connecting on 30-of-48 attempts ... posted six multi-rebound games and recorded five or more points in five games ... named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star ... recorded first double-digit scoring effort in a Red Storm uniform with 10 points against Army (Nov. 13) ... shot 57.1 from the field, going 4-for-7, and added five rebounds against the Black Knights ... finished second on the team with a 66.7 field goal percentage and set a career high with three steals against Dartmouth (Nov. 25) ... was perfect from the field against Monmouth (Nov. 28), going 4-for-4 for eight points ... also pulled in four rebounds against Hawks ... scored six points against Maine (Dec. 14), connecting on all three attempts ... recorded a career-high 15 points against Pittsburgh (Jan. 22), going 7-for-10 to lead the team.
Before St. John[apos]s: Had a standout career for Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas ... the Apaches finished with a 28-8 record and advanced to the consolation bracket championship at the NJCAA Division I Women[apos]s Tournament ... named to the all-tournament team at the national tournament ... averaged 12.2 points and 3.3 assists at TJC ... also excelled in the classroom and was named an Academic All-American at TJC ... attended MacArthur High School where she was named all-city, all-state, all-region and all-state academic during her career.
