'Mallory has the ability to play multiple positions which brings us versatility in the post and on the wing. She is a terrific shooter from all over the floor which allows us to stretch defenses. Mal has shown great improvement over the last year and we expect her to contribute for us this year.'
As A Sophomore in 2012-13:
Played in one game... Had one steal in three minutes of action against Hofstra (Nov. 17) ... suffered Mono since the beginning of December and missed 14 games ... experienced concussion-like symptoms from Feb. 2 - March 2.
As A Freshman In 2011-12:
Played in 11 games ... sat out season-opener due to injury (ankle) and saw limited action after a midseason shoulder injury, sat out final 11 games ... saw her first action as a member of the Red Storm as she added her first-career 3-pointer late in the contest against Wagner (Nov. 22) ... played three minutes off the bench against both Iowa (Nov. 25) and Temple (Nov. 26) at the Junkanoo Jam ... achieved her first-career rebound and assist against Howard (Nov. 30), where she played a season-high 12 minutes ... came off the bench to register three minutes against Prairie View (Dec. 17) in the STJ-Chartwells Holiday Classic.
At Oak Hill:
Two-year letterwinner and one-year team captain ... played on Oak Hill[apos]s squad that lost just four games in 2009-10 and was the ESPN Rise National Invitational Runner Up ... averaged 12.6 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists a game as a junior ... was a member of the national honors society ... was the Fitness Student of the Year ... spoke at Oak Hill[apos]s graduation as the English, Spanish and History departments[apos] Student of the Year, Miss Oak Hill Academy, Prom Queen and Presidential Scholar.
