2009-10: Played in all eight of the team's tournaments... ranked fourth on the squad with an 82.39 round average and one top-10 finish... finished in the top 15 four times... played a key role in St. John's second-place finish at the Rutgers Invitational (Oct. 9-10), tying for 12th after shooting 79-79--158 (+14)... helped STJ win the Sacred Heart Fall Classic (Oct. 18-19), carding an 80-81--161 (+17) to take fourth place... tied for 26th at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate (March 20-21) with an 81-80--161 (+17)... helped lead team to second-place finish at the Hartford Invitational (April 11-13), shooting 77-84--161 (+17)... finished career strong at the BIG EAST Championship (April 18-20), taking 11th place with an 80-79-78--237 (+34).
2008-09: Named BIG EAST Academic All-Star... played in all eight St. John's events... ranked third on team with a 82.58 round average and tied for second on the team with two top-10 showings... tied for ninth at the Princeton Invitational (Sept. 20-21), shooting 75-79--154 (+10)... led the team with a third-place showing at the ECAC Division I Championship (Oct. 4-5), carding a 72-75--147 (+3)... took 16th-place with a 6-over 78 at the NSU Shark Invitational (Oct 12-14)... tied for 20th at the North/South Women's Collegiate (March 9-10) after finishing at 77-83--160 (+20)... tied for 24th at the BIG EAST Championship (April 19-21), carding a 74-81-81--236 (+20).
2007-08: Played 17 rounds for the Red Storm in her second year ... carded a season low and team low 73 in the second round of the Rutgers Invitational on her way to a 15th place finish ... finished tied for 16th in the first tournament of the year, the Princeton Invitational ... tallied two top-20 finishes and one top-30 finish in her sophomore campaign.
2006-07: Named BIG EAST Academic All-Star... competed in four tournaments after joining the team midway through the season ... debut came in the Treasure Coast Women[apos]s Classic ... tied for 27th at the Hoya Women[apos]s Invitational with a 17-over 161 ... finished 31st at the BIG EAST Championships with a 37-over 253 ... runner-up in the 2007 New York State Gold Association Women[apos]s Amateur.
Before St. John[apos]s: Competed on boys varsity golf team for six seasons, beginning in seventh grade ... captained squad her junior and senior seasons at West Islip ... team went undefeated all six seasons, never losing a match ... an all-league selection each year ... participated in Habitat for Humanity and served as President of Student Senate.
Personal: Born in West Islip, N.Y. ... parents are Ralph and Adele Romano ... has one older sister, Christine (26) ... father, Ralph, is a St. John[apos]s alumnus ... president ... made a hole-in-one in 2005 at The Architects Club in Lopatcong, N.J. ... shot a 68 in a tournament at Pine Needles in Southern Pines, N.C, host of 2007 U.S. Women[apos]s Open ... majoring in legal studies.

Pre-shot rituals: I take a lot of deep breaths but I don[apos]t have any real 'rituals'.
Favorite Golfer: Jack Nickalus.
Favorite Golf Course: Bethpage Red, because it is an awesome course that pushes me to surpass what I think I am capable of.
