2009-10: Played in four tournaments and posted one top-25 finish... had 88.5 round average... tied for 58th in the Princeton Invitational (Sept. 19-20)...took 42nd in the Sacred Heart Fall Classic (Oct. 18-19)...posted best finish of the season in the Hartford Invitational (April 11-13), tying for 22nd after carding an 88-77--165 (+21) while competing as an individual...second-round 77 was best personal round of the season.
2008-09: Named BIG EAST Academic All-Star... competed in all eight of St. John's tournaments... ranked fourth on the team with an 82.69 round average... helped team earn second-place finish in the ECAC Division I Championship (Oct. 4-5), tying for 22nd with a 77-82--159 (+15)... tied for 32nd at the NSU Shark Invitational (Oct. 12-14), shooting 10-over 82... tied for 26th at the Winthrop Intercollegiate (March 20-22) after carding 85-82-80--247 (+31)... tied for 30th and was second on the team at the Hoya Invitational (March 30-31) with an 84-87-75--246 (+30)... third-round 75 was season best... took 31st at the BIG EAST Championship (April 19-21) after carding an 86-84-82--252 (+36).
2007-08: Played in 14 rounds for St. John[apos]s in her second year with the team ... finished tied for 22nd at the Rutgers Invitational, carding a 163 (81, 82) and helping the team to a third place finish at the event ... recorded eight rounds at 85 or better on the year.
2006-07: Named BIG EAST Academic All-Star... competed in nine tournaments with an 81.9 stroke average ...tied for sixth place at the Roar-ee Invitational ... achieved low round of 74 twice ... tied for 13th place at the Treasure Coast Women[apos]s Classic with a 19-over 232.
Before St. John[apos]s: Played basketball and golf all four years of high school ... lettered in golf all four years and basketball her final two ... captained the golf team her junior and senior seasons ... earned the league[apos]s sportsmanship award during her senior year ... also named Tri-Valley League (TVL) All-Star as a senior ... took ninth at the Massachusetts State Championships during senior campaign ... place third at the state championships as a junior ... three time Boston Globe All-Scholastic and The Herald All-Scholastic selection ... named Metro West Daily News All-Star as a senior ... was given the Unsung Hero award by her teammates.
Personal: Born in Framingham, Mass. ... the daughter of George and Patricia Tejada ... step-father Peter Cooper is a tennis professional ... has four younger siblings, Michael, Alex, Phillip and Isabella... earned the Assistant Principal[apos]s Award for academic achievement while in high school ... was the only female scholar-athlete as a senior ... majoring in finance.
