Fall 2010: Finished the fall season with a 2-3 singles record ... was 3-7 in doubles play with partners Ece Firat and Diamond Adams ... opened the season with a straight set 6-0, 6-0 defeat of Columbia[apos]s Carolyn Costa in the Fall Columbia Classic (Sept. 17-19) ... picked up other singles win in the USTA Women[apos]s College Invitational (Oct. 9-11) at the USTA Tennis Center ... defeated a Columbia duo in the opening round of doubles[apos] play with teammate Ece Firat at the Fall Columbia Classic ... the pair picked up two wins in the A doubles bracket at the West Point Eastern Invitational (Sept. 24-26).
Spring 2010: Saw action at the No. 4 and 5 positions, compiling a 14-6 record in singles play ... defeated Louisville in three sets 4-6, 6-1, 6-4 in the first round of the BIG EAST Championship (April 22) ... downed Connecticut (April 16) in a three-setter on the road ... put together a seven-match win streak mid-season with victories against Fordham (April 10), Villanova (April 1), Providence (March 20), Seton Hall (March 19), Georgetown (March 13), Howard (March 12) and George Washington (March 10) ... won season-opener over Buffalo (Jan. 28) 5-7, 6-3, 6-2 ... finished at 11-8 in doubles competition for the season.
Spring 2009: Won six of her final eight matches to finish at 11-10 for the spring season ... played each of her 21 matches at the No. 6 singles position ... went 2-1 in BIG EAST Tournament play, registering victories over West Virginia (April 17) and Cincinnati (April 18).
Fall 2008: Finished the fall with an even 3-3 record in singles competition ... was 2-2 in doubles play with partners Ksenia Mikhaylova and Joanna Zwirbulis ... produced a 1-2 mark in singles and a 1-1 doubles record at the Columbia Classic (Sept. 19-21) ... went 2-1 in singles and 1-1 in doubles at the Eastern Championships (Sept. 26-28).
Spring 2008: Produced an 11-10 singles record out of the No. 4, 5 and 6 spots, which led the returning letterwinners ... compiled a 7-10 record in doubles from all three positions with five different partners ... won her first collegiate match over Lauren Shearer of Columbia at No. 6 (Feb. 15) ... won five-straight singles matches from April 3-16 ... finished the spring winning six of her last seven singles competitions ... won her last four doubles matches (March 30-April 14).
Before St. John[apos]s: Played all four years at Geneva High School ... named team captain her senior year ... won team MVP award twice during her junior and senior years ... played at No. 1 singles her freshman and sophomore season, then No. 1 doubles the final two years of her high school career ... finished in the top 12 in doubles throughout Illinois her junior and senior years .... member of the Score Tennis Club Team.
Personal: Daughter of Jeff Yonkus and Michelle Hines ... has one brother, Jeff Jr. (21) ... biology major.
