Ciuffo began her second stint with the Red Storm athletic department in the summer of 2021. She offers a variety of services to St. John's student-athletes, including one-on-one consultations, team workshops, meal planning and oversight of the department’s fueling station.

Beginning in the fall of 2015, Ciuffo worked at St. John’s three and a half years as a campus registered dietician. In this role, she provided nutritional counseling and participated in various health and wellness initiatives both in the athletic department and the greater campus community. In her first go-around with the Red Storm, Ciuffo instituted the Red Storm’s first fueling station, now a vital part of the student-athlete community that allows Johnnies from all teams to pick up nutritious snacks and small meals throughout the day in Carnesecca Arena.

Ciuffo, who is an adjunct lecturer at Queens College, most recently served as the director of nutrition and wellness at CulinArt Inc. She also has experience working in the NYC Health & Hospitals Corporation as a clinical dietician.
