Kaczmarski (Lancaster, N.Y.) netted the first goal of the game midway through the first half. Jaime Clark (Massapequa, N.Y.) dribbled the ball up the right side and crossed it to Kaczmarski for the score at the 27:25 mark. The assist was Clark's 11th of the season, tying the school single season assist record shared by Jen Contesini, '96.
Just 16 seconds into the second half, Kaczmarski tallied her second goal of the game. Marissa Stork (Flushing, N.Y.) found Joanna Dawson (Staten Island, N.Y.) who fed the ball to Kaczmarski. Kaczmarski broke away up the middle going one-on-one with the Lafayette keeper to put the Storm ahead 2-0.
The top-seeded Red Storm put the game away in the 79th minute. Amber Carr (Rochester, N.Y.) broke away from the Leopard defense and shot the ball as the keeper played off her line. The shot hit the left post and was rebounded by Erin Zambelli (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) for the score.
Tina Fogg (Warwick, R.I.) recorded the shutout, her sixth of the season. She notched four saves.
The Red Storm will face the winner of the Northeastern/Pennsylvania match at 1:00 tomorrow. They will look to win their first post-season tournament since 1994 when they captured the BIG EAST tournament crown. The Red Storm fell to the Villanova Wildacts, 1-0, in last year's ECAC championship game.
