Bilezikjian Earns All-Conference Honors from Baseball America

Bilezikjian played in 36 games last year after coming back from a hand injury and batted .319 (44-for-138) with 10 doubles, three triples and one home run. He drove in 28 runs, scored 39 times and recorded 11 multi-hit games, including a five-hit performance against Hofstra when he went 5-for-7, with a double, three RBI and three runs scored.
He is a career .328 batter (102-for-311), with 20 doubles, four triples and four home runs, along with 28 stolen bases.
A BIG EAST All-Rookie selection in 1999, Bilezikjian hit .335 (58-for-173) in his freshman year, starting 52 games in left field for the Red Storm. His 16 stolen bases were third on the team and he recorded 16 multi-hit games.
An education major, Bilezikjian is a St. Johns Honor Roll student and finished last semester with a 4.0 grade point average, the ninth consecutive semester he has finished with at least a 3.5.
St. Johns opens its season on February 17 at the College of Charleston.
