SJU Volleyball Tops Siena, 3-0

Junior Sarah McCrary led the SJU attack with 11 kills and seven digs in the match. McCrary also added five service aces to the win. Classmate Meaghan Creedon recorded a .409 hitting percentage, notching 10 kills and just one error in 22 attempts. Creedon set a new career-high with three solo blocks. Sophomore Robyn Kurasaki dished out 19 defensive digs and 37 set assists to help the Red Storm.
For the Saints, Lauren Weber recorded a team-high nine kills and also led the team with 15 digs. Sarah Watkins contributed 12 digs, nine assists and four kills to the Siena attack. The Saints fall to 15-7 on the season.
The Red Storm (4-2 BIG EAST) return to BIG EAST action this weekend with two conference matches. On Friday, October 26 at 7:30 pm, St. Johns takes on Boston College at Power Gym. The Red Storm then travel to Connecticut on Sunday, October 28 at 1:00pm to take on the Huskies.
