Women's Soccer Wins Fordham Indoor Tournament

Fifteen members of the women's squad particpated in the tournament, dividing themselves into two teams. The tournament was made up of seven-on-a-side teams from the local area.
St. John's first team won all three matches in the group phase of the tournament. In the semifinal game, this team fell to Fordham, 0-1.
St. John's second team won two and tied one game during the group phase. In the semis, this squad defeated Wagner, 3-0. For the championship, the Red Storm beat Fordham, 1-0.
During the course of the weekend, the two teams representing St. John's played nine games, scored fifteen goals and allowed only three goals.
In the spring the women's soccer team will play five dates. Next up for the Red Storm is West Point on March 31.
