Volleyball Improves to 10-2 with Win Over Manhattan

Sophomore Rosalyn Dang (Honolulu, Hawaii) had another impressive night with 14 kills and 10 digs on the night. Junior Sarah MCrary(Walnut, Calif.) tallied 16 kills and 13 digs on the night. Senior Kristy Mercein (East Meadow, N.Y.) continued her impressive play in the middle, notching 22 digs for the match. Sophomore Robyn Kuraski (Milliani, Hawaii) contributed 43 assists and 10 digs for the win.
The Red Storm had 20 blocks on the night, compared to the Jasper's four. St. John's also notched 11 service aces, with sophomore Alysse Bak (Fresh Meadows, N.Y.) recording a career-high four aces.
The Red Storm return to action this weekend with two BIG EAST Conference matchups. On Saturday, September 29, the Red Storm travel to West Virginia for a 7pm game. St. John's then heads to Pittsburgh for a match on Sunday, September 30 at 2pm.
