St. Johns Argeras Selected to the Greek Olympic Softball Team

During the past three seasons, Argeras has been a staple for the Red Storm at second base. As a sophomore, she batted .259, leading the team in batting average. Last season, Argeras recorded 34 hits, including eight doubles, and 12 RBI. Argeras boasts a .970 career fielding percentage in a 146 games played. A well-rounded hitter, Argeras is a student of the game and is able to contribute both offensively and defensively.
These 12 players, along with the Greek players that will be added from tryouts in Athens in late September, will makeup the Greek national softball team that will next meet in Tempe, Arizona from January 2-8, 2003 to begin training for the 2003-04 Greek national team training schedule.
