Queens, NY - After a thrilling 1-0 shutout against No. 18 Villanova on Sunday, St. John's University women's soccer junior was named Goalkeeper of the Week by the BIG EAST Conference today.
Rollings recorded her third shutout of the season, posting four saves in the Red Storm's win over the 2003 BIG EAST Tournament champions yesterday. She has a 6-2 overall record so far this season, and is sixth in the conference in saves per game (4.57).
This is the second time that Rollings has been named BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week, earning the honor last season after posting back-to-back shutouts against Providence and nationally ranked Boston College.
