Head Coach Kim Barnes Arico
On the play of forward Danielle Chambers:
"Danielle Chambers is doing a heck of a job for us rebounding and tonight she did a great job again. She was really aggressive, moved the ball well and was an animal on the boards. She was terrific tonight."
On the contribution from the bench:
"Coming off the bench, Lisa Claxton and Tiina Sten both did an excellent job for us. Tiina was able to score and Lisa made some really great passes and got people involved."
On the team's improvement:
"Last year, people were surprised by us and we caught a lot of people off guard, but this year people are expecting us to be good so we have to work even harder and improve every day. We have some real tough competition coming up so we have to play even better than we did today and just keep getting better every game."
Senior Danielle Chambers
On Fairleigh Dickinson's defense:
"Usually teams play zone on us because of our inside game and try to put some strength on our shooting, so I figured I'd take it right where they didn't want us to go and forced it in there. It was a matter of breaking them down and taking away what they wanted to do."
On the team's mentality:
"We play hard every second. It's not a matter of having to let up because these games leading up to the BIG EAST are all about us learning to become a better team. Good teams never let up so at the two minute-mark, we're going to play just as hard as we do at the tip."
