Philadelphia, Pa. - The St. John's University men's lacrosse team fell to Drexel University, 11-5, in a non-conference game at Franklin Field on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania. The Dragons improve to 5-1 on the season, while the Red Storm falls to 1-3 (0-1 ECAC).
The Dragons had the only two goals of the first period as Brian Neary and Jesse Rumble each scored. Yoni Cohen found the net at the 9:31 mark of the second quarter to put the Dragons up by three. The Red Storm got on the board for the first time when Robert Gannon scored at 6:31. Cohen added another and Greg Dougherty completed the scoring in the first half with just 30 seconds left to increase Drexel's lead to 5-1 at intermission.

Schaknowski and Chris O'Connor each had a pair of goals and an assist for Drexel. Justin O'Donnell scored twice for the Red Storm.
