Bradley Earns Tillinghast Individual Championship Title

The St. John???s men???s golf team hosted its second home event of the season, the Tillinghast, at Fenway Golf Club on Oct. 16 and 17. Co-captain Keegan Bradley (Jackson Hole,Wyo.) and rookie Mike Ballo Jr. (Stamford, Conn.), took first and second place honors, respectively.
Bradley won his second consecutive Tillinghast individual championship, posting a two-under par 139 over the two round event. He recorded a 69 in the first round and shot even par on the final day.
Meanwhile, Ballo posted his highest finish in his young career, coming in as the runner-up. He carded a three-over par 144 and was even on the green during the first day of competition.
Classmate Dan Mollicone (Greenwich, R.I.) rounded out the top-three finishers for the Red Storm with a 156 (77-79).
The Red Storm was not able to turn in a team score for the tournament due to the disqualification of two of its members because of improper scoring procedure.
The men???s golf team will travel to Kerrville, Texas for the Roadrunner Intercollegiate on Oct. 23-34.
