Tara Walker Named To BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

QUEENS, N.Y. - Red Storm senior guard Tara Walker has been named to the BIG EAST's Weekly Honor Roll, the conference announced today. Walker led all players with 19 points on 7-for-9 shooting in St. John's victory over Syracuse on Saturday.

In addition to her 19 points, Walker contributed three assists and two steals. She had no turnovers in the victory over the Orange.

St. John's is back in action on Tuesday, Feb. 28, when it hosts Seton Hall on Senior Night. Walker, in addition to her four senior classmates, will be honored in a pregame ceremony.
