PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Scarlet Knight forward Kristen Edmonds' goal in the 22nd minute was the difference in an evenly matched game, as Rutgers edged St. John's, 1-0, in BIG EAST women's soccer action Friday night at Yurcak Field.
Edmonds gathered a pass from Domenique Esposito, dodged a defender in the penalty box and finished a shot into the bottom right of the goal. It was her first goal of the season.
