QUEENS, N.Y. - St. John's softball head coach Amy Kvilhaug, along with assistant coaches Laura Taylor and Amanda Walling, will host a winter pitching clinic. St. John's coaches as well as current players will be assisting in the clinic this year. The event will be held on January 26th at 1 p.m. The clinic is open to girls ranging from 10 years old to seniors in high school.
At the pitching clinic, attendees will be educated about the fundamentals of solid pitching and taught several different pitches. The coaches on hand will provide drills for the girls to take home with them so they may continue to advance their sills.
Players should bring their own sneakers and gloves. Please note that lunch will not be served.
The clinic will be two hours long and will take place in Carnesecca Arena in Queens, N.Y. The session is $85, which must be paid in full. Checks can be made out to Amy Kvilhaug. Players must register by January 22.
