Head Coach Kim Barnes Arico
Opening statement:
"I thought it was important for us to play a good second half and I thought we were able to do that for the first time in a long time. I was really proud of the young ladies tonight and the way they bounced back from a tough loss the other day. I thought we really came together as a team and we gave a great effort."
On the importance of this game:
"They [the team] knows what we have to do. We try to take it one game at a time. It was important for us to play well. It didn't matter what our record was or who we were playing tonight. We just needed to come out and have a good game."
On the accomplishment of Monique McLean:
"I am proud of Monique. It is a big deal because your role changes from high school to college. In college, you are surrounded by a lot of good players. In high school, you are usually the key member of your team. I am happy that she was able to accomplish this in her junior year. It shows what a significant impact she has had on our program."
Sophmore Forward Recee Mitchell
On the progression of her game:
