Women's Soccer Releases Exhibition Game Times

QUEENS, N.Y. - Head coach Ian Stone and the St. John's women's soccer team have released the game times for their two road exhibition games this upcoming season.
On Thursday, Aug. 14, the Red Storm will travel to play New Hampshire at 3 p.m. at Lewis Fields in Durham, N.H. St. John's will then wrap up exhibition action on Monday, Aug. 18, when the squad travels to the Hofstra Soccer Stadium in Hempstead, N.Y., to face in-state rival Hofstra at 8 p.m.
The Red Storm will return home to open up regular-season action when it hosts Fairfield on Friday, Aug. 22, at 7 p.m. The 2008 schedule features a total of nine home contests and two tournaments, one of which the Red Storm will host from Sept. 12-14 at Belson Stadium.
The 2008 edition of the Red Storm team will be looking to build on its highly successful campaign last year, where it posted an 11-5-3 slate and set school records with six BIG EAST wins and eight home victories.
