NEW YORK -
- St. John's now has a 2-0 record in 2008-09 in "The World's Most Famous Arena" and improves its overall record at MSG to 5-1.
- The Red Storm went on an 18-4 run to erase a 14-point deficit and tie the score at 39-39 on a 3-point play by Monique McLean with 11:19 remaining in the game.
- A 3-pointer by Kelly McManmon at 9:16 of the second half gave the Red Storm its first lead of the frame, 42-40. STJ would not trail again in the game.
- McManmon set new career highs with 20 points and three steals. The senior also matched her career high with five three pointers (5-of-12).
- Da'Shena Stevens ended the day with 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the field and pulled down five rebounds.
- Sky Lindsay rounded out the Red Storm players that scored in double-figures by tallying 11 points for her third 10-plus-point performance in the past four games.
- Joy McCorvey led St. John's with seven rebounds.
- The Red Storm forced the Bearcats to commit 23 turnovers, which ties for the second-highest an opponent has had in the 2008-09 season.
