EDISON, N.J.--PGA Champion and PGA Rookie of the Year candidate Keegan Bradley takes his first step towards the FedExCup Championship with The Barclays, which kicks off tomorrow in Edison, NJ.
The former Red Storm great will be playing with some pretty talented company, teeing off with four-time major champion and former world No. 1 Phil Mickelson, as well as current world No. 1 Luke Donald.
After his win at the Atlanta Athletic Club 10 days ago, Bradley vaulted from 25th to 4th in the FedExCup standings, dropping just one spot after taking a well-deserved break last week, to 5th. The groupings for the first two rounds of The Barclays were based on the current FedExCup standings, matching Bradley with Donald(4th) and Mickelson(6th).
Despite the spotlight surrounding golf's newest major champion, Bradley still found time to visit with some fellow Red Storm alumni, as well as some members of the current team. Bradley talked about what it was like to spend a day with the guys in his pre-tournament interview yesterday.
Bradley, Mickelson and Donald tee off at 1:06 p.m. on Plainfield Country Club tee No. 1 on Thursday. Stay tuned to RedStormSports.com and follow @STJ_MensGolf on Twitter to stay updated as Keegan Bradley chases the FedExCup.
