Expected Inclement Weather Forces Saturday DH At Villanova

PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. - With the forecast for inclement weather expected on Sunday, the schedule for the BIG EAST series pitting St. John's against Villanova has been amended. Following the series opener on Friday, the teams will now take to the field for a 12:15 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday.

The second game on Saturday will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. Should the second game be halted for any reason, league rules dictate that the game will resume on Sunday if weather permits.

Following the opening weekend of BIG EAST play, St. John's returns home and opens a brief four-game homestand with a midweek game against Maryland at 3 p.m. on March 28.
