The Hauppauge, N.Y., native was outstanding in the Red Storm's upset victory over No. 25/16 Georgetown, tying a season high with eight saves and picking up the clean sheet against the Hoyas. Poulin came up big in the second half several times on Thursday, turning away six Georgetown tries and helping to neutralize nine corner kicks en route to registering her league-leading seventh shutout.
On Sunday against Providence, Poulin allowed only one goal in the loss. The tally was just the third allowed in BIG EAST play by Poulin, who currently holds a conference GAA of 0.43.
Poulin and the Red Storm have two games remaining on their regular season slate, beginning with a Saturday afternoon match at Seton Hall. First kick is set for 4 p.m. in South Orange, N.J.
