Soccer America Tabs Parker As Preseason All-American

QUEENS, N.Y. - Already named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List and chosen as a unanimous selection to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team, senior defender Tim Parker has earned Preseason All-America honors from Soccer America. The center back is one of five defenders and one of four BIG EAST players named to the 30-man list of honorees.
Named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List last year as well, Parker has been on the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team for the past three seasons. The defender has been a unanimous selection to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team for the past two years and was also the Preseason BIG EAST Co-Defensive Player of the Year last season.
Parker has earned first team NSCAA All-Northeast Region honors in each of the past two seasons. The defender was also a first team All-BIG EAST honoree last season after earning second team honors as a sophomore and All-Rookie accolades as a freshman.
Parker has appeared in all 62 Red Storm games in his career, including 61 starts, and has registered three goals, two game-winners, and three assists. The defender has helped lead the defense to 28 shutouts in the past three seasons.
