Red Storm Finishes Second Day at Erin Hills Intercollegiate

Oct. 5, 2015 Erin, Wis. - Through two rounds of the Erin Hills Intercollegiate, the St. John's men's golf team sits in 11th place with a score of 622 (+46).
Freshman Troy Evans is in position for his second top-30 finish after registering a 73 (+1) on Monday. The Vermont product is five strokes over par with a score of 149 following his second round.
After shooting three strokes better on the second go-around at the site of the 2017 U.S. Open, Seung Yub Baek has a two-round score of 151 (+7).
Freshmen Matthew Sweeney and Jonathan Spicci have identical scores of 161 (+17) through 36 holes.
Once again SMU is atop the team leaderboard. The Mustangs are shooting 568 (-8) for the event as Johnathan Gardick of UCLA leads all golfers with a score of 137 (-7).
The Red Storm wraps up the tournament tomorrow as St. John's is set to tee off in the morning.
