Hackimer Selected To BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

QUEENS, N.Y. - After working two scoreless relief appearances to help St. John's notch a pair of wins as part of a 2-1 weekend, Thomas Hackimer has been selected to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.
Hackimer worked 5.2 scoreless innings and racked up seven strikeouts in two outings. The reliever allowed just one single, limiting the opposition to a .056 batting average, and issued one walk to face just two batters more than the minimum.
The righty had three strikeouts in 2.1 shutout frames in a 13-5 win against Fairleigh Dickinson (March 13). Hackimer then struck out four batters in 3.1 scoreless innings in a 5-2 victory against Holy Cross (March 15).
Hackimer currently ranks tied atop the BIG EAST rankings with nine appearances. The reliever also ranks fifth with 20 strikeouts.
