St. John's Sweeps NJIT At Home

QUEENS, N.Y.-- The St. John's women's tennis swept NJIT in its last home match of the season on Tuesday.
Senior Anastasia Polyakova won her last home dual match of her career as she defeated Nathalie Habegger in the second singles flight, 6-3, 6-0. Polyakova teamed up with Stephanie Elgegren in the third doubles to win, 8-1.
Sophomore Anna Morozova continued her hot streak, defeating Carolina Zanotta in straight sets, 6-3, 6-1, for her third straight singles victory. The win puts her at 14-4 on the season, matching her win total from last season.     Â
The Red Storm finishes up its regular season schedule on Sunday, April 19, against BIG EAST foe Providence. The last time the two teams met on March 29, 2014, the Red Storm defeated the Friars, 6-1.
