Reyes Named BIG EAST Player Of The Week

NEW YORK, N.Y. -- After a standout week that saw him claim victory in the contest-clinching match for the Red Storm against VCU, senior Erick Reyes has been named the BIG EAST Player of the Week.
Reyes has tallied a total of six singles victories on the season, with his most recent victory coming against VCU this past Sunday. The Bolivia native capped a Red Storm comeback and clinched the win for the team in a three-set thriller in the second singles slot, 6-3, 2-6, 7-6.
The St. John's men's tennis team is 10-8 on the season. The team finishes up its regular season schedule on Friday, April 17 against conference rival DePaul in Chicago. Â
