Erin Burner Named a First-Team ECAC All-Star

QUEENS, N.Y. - Having already earned her fair share of accolades after a stellar senior campaign, Erin Burner has been selected as a First Team ECAC All-Star, it was announced today by the organization.
Burner, the unanimous 2015 BIG EAST Player of the Year, completely rewrote the St. John's record book during her senior year. A two-time BIG EAST Player of the Week and a candidate for the Senior CLASS Award, Burner graduated as the program's career leader in home runs (43) and batting average (.360). She also set single-season marks for RBI (49), batting average (.439), walks (33), slugging percentage (.848) and on-base percentage (.548).
On top of her individual accomplishments, Burner led St. John's to one of its finest seasons in program history, as the team claimed its first-ever BIG EAST title and made an appearance in the NCAA Tournament for the first time.
