St. John's improved to 7-1 when leading at halftime and moved to 7-1 when shooting better than the opposition. The Red Storm also improved to 7-1 when outrebounding its opponent.
The Red Storm has a perfect 6-0 record when holding the opposition to 65 points or less.
The Red Storm has registered six double-doubles this season, including two from both Christian Jones and Ron Mvouika, and one each from Yankuba Sima and Kassoum Yakwe.
St. John's pulled down 49 boards, a season-high in league play for the Red Storm and tied for its third-most in a game overall this season.
St. John's dished out 18 assists, the fourth-most overall for the Red Storm this season and its second-most in league games.

Individual Notes

Durand Johnson scored a team-high 18 points to register his team-leading 19th double-figure game. Johnson has reached double-figures in 10-of-14 BIG EAST games.
Federico Mussini finished with 17 points to record his first double-figure game since a 19-point effort against Marquette on Jan. 24. Mussini made a career-high 10 free throws in a career-high 11 attempts.
Kassoum Yakwe posted his first-career double-double with an 11-point, 11-rebound effort. Yakwe has scored in double-figures in four of the past five games and his 11 rebounds matched a career-high.
Malik Ellison reached double-figures for the second-straight game and fourth time this season with an 11-point effort.
In his fourth game since returning to action, Yankuba Sima finished with six points, nine rebounds and three blocks.
