Red Storm Prepares for 28th Annual Kingsmill Intercollegiate

QUEENS, N.Y. -- Coming off a second place finish at the Lonnie Barton Invitational, the St. John's women's golf team travels to Williamsburg, Va., to compete in the 28th Annual Kingsmill Intercollegiate on March 28-29 at the famed River Course at the Kingsmill Resort.
Leading the Johnnies will be Anna Kim, who is coming off her third-career medal after carding a 73-73--146 (+2) at the Lonnie Barton Invitational. The senior from Toronto secured eight top-five showings in her past 15 tournaments dating back to the 2014-15 season.
Kirsty Beckwith will be slotted in the No. 2 spot for St. John's followed by Saskia Sterud, Lindsey Oliva and Lydia Kim.
Beckwith tied for fourth place to clinch the best finish in the team's last tournament. The freshman secured her second top-five showing in three events following a two-round score of 78-79--157 (+13).
Sterud also sealed her best finish at St. John's. The junior from Norway jumped five spots in the standings on the final day after posting a 84-78--162 (+18) to claim a ninth place tie.
About the Event:
The 28th Annual Kingsmill Intercollegiate will be played over two days on the famed River Course at the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va. The par-72, 6,043 yard-River Course has served as a long-time host of several PGA and LPGA tours.
The two-day event begins on Monday with 36 holes of action beginning at 8:30 a.m. On Tuesday, all 19 teams will return for an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start to close out the final round.

Bethune-Cookman, Boston Univ., Delaware, Eastern Michigan, Fairleigh Dickinson, Lehigh, Longwood, Navy, Northern Illinois, Penn, Radford, Richmond, Sacred Heart, St. Francis (Pa.), Toledo, Towson, Wagner, W&M will join St. John's at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate.
