WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- After carding a 74 (+2) in Tuesday's final round, St. John's senior Anna Kim jumped one spot to secure a third place finish at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate in Williamsburg, Va.
Kim closed out the tournament seven strokes over-par with a 74-75-74--223. The Toronto native registered her fourth top-five finish this season and her ninth in 16 events dating back to last season.
As a team, St. John's finished 19th after shooting 327-329-347--1003 (+139).
Freshman Kirsty Beckwith shot a 79-76-87--242 (+26) to finish tied for 49th place.
Toledo swept the individual and team titles. The Rockets captured the team championship with a team score of 305-296-308--908 (+44), while Pennsylvania and William & Mary rounded out the top-three. Sathika Ruenreoung was one stoke over-par with an individual score of 71-73-73--217 (+1).
The Red Storm is back in action next week at the Hoya Invitational in Beallsville, Md. The two-day tournament will be held at the Four Streams Golf Club beginning on Monday, April 4.
