QUEENS, N.Y. - After going 5-1-3 in non-conference play to open the 2016 campaign, the Red Storm hit the road on Saturday afternoon, visiting Seton Hall at 2 p.m.
FREE KICKS
- The Red Storm enters the BIG EAST portion of its schedule after a 1-0 win over La Salle in its final non-conference tune-up. The Johnnies are outscoring their opponents, 14-4, and have had 11 different players find the back of the net. Last year, only nine different players recorded goals for the Red Storm over the course of 20 games. Through nine games this season, the Red Storm have matched its 2015 goal output through nine games.
- Shea Connors scored the game-winning goal in the 82nd minute to propel the Johnnies to a 1-0 win over La Salle. The decisive tally was her second of the season and her seventh point overall, both of which lead the team.
- Two-time BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Year Diana Poulin continues to shine in net. After making five saves in the shutout win over La Salle, her goals against average is 0.31 while her save percentage rose to .893, both of which rank in the top-15 in Division I.
- As a team, the Red Storm's 0.411 goals-against average ranks 10th in the nation. Poulin and the St. John's defense have allowed four goals in nine games this season and have posted six clean sheets.
- The Red Storm's sophomore class has been a driving force for the team this season, recording eight of the squad's 14 goals.
SCOUTING SETON HALL
- The Pirates are coming off a 1-1 draw in their last match against Columbia.
- In their last three contests, Seton Hall is unbeaten, going 2-0-1 in that span.
- Frankie Maier leads Seton Hall with two goals, three assists and seven points through the first eight matches of the 2016 campaign.

- St. John's and Seton Hall have met 21 times in the history of the two programs.
